Bernard the Seal
2020
Bernard the Seal is a quirky work for middle school band that was written for the 2020 Connecticut Future Musicians All-State Concert Band. It will be debuted on March 28th, at 2pm during their concert at Central Connecticut State University's Welte Hall. More info to come, including performance video.
Our Hands

This special piece of music is written during the COVID pandemic and is intended to be a Virtual Music Project. Anyone interested can submit a recording of themselves singing their part of the SATB spread, or 20 seconds of a homemade instrument or bells. Musicians wanted! 2018
A piece of original music and poetry, debuted in April 2018 as part of the Meetinghouse Chorale's Spring Showcase Concert themed Great Literature in Music. Every piece on the program had a literary connection.
The Human Colossus
2016
Dan's first major composition for First UCC Milford. Originally composed for the Adult Choir, Meetinghouse Chorale and guests, it merges Muslim chants, with the words of the Statue of Liberty, reminding the world that humanity's greatest gift, is the capacity to take care of each other. And that all people deserve to find a home. It contains texts of Muslim prayers, Emma Lazarus, Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Dan's original poetry.
Serenade
2012
Originally composed for the Ithaca College All-Campus Band, but revised several times and most recently performed by the Enfield Community Band in 2013. Written as a symphonic poem of sorts, telling the story of a dream within a dream.
Shadows for Percussion
2010
Originally written for the Ithaca College Percussion Ensemble, this work molds together themes of death and purgatory with the Lutheran chorale: Komm susser Tod (Come Sweet Death).
Arrythmia
2008
A work for solo snare drum that follows the process of resuscitating a person following a cardiac episode.
