Daniel A. Brownell truly lives the life as a professional musician.
After spending most of personal and professional life in Connecticut, he recently relocated to York, Pennsylvania, where he is the Director of Music Ministries and Worship at the First Presbyterian Church of York. There he is the principal organist for all worship and community events, directs the Chancel Choir and Jubilate Ringers, coordinates the Abendmusik Concert Series, and guides all aspects of an ever-growing Music Ministry. He also teaches private music lessons, and is active as an organ recitalist in the local area. He is also a composer and arranger, and does many other things within the music profession.
But Dan’s interests exist outside of music as well. He’s an aspiring writer, having recently had poetry published, and he has a number of larger projects in the works. He has also taken up coffee bean roasting as a hobby, and enjoys spending time outdoors whenever possible. He and his wife Amy live in York, and have an energetic, cute 5-year old boxer mix named Denver, and much of their life revolves around this awesome pup.
